The I International Congress on Innovation and Education. Management, transfer and digitization (I CIIE 2023) will be held at EIIM, the CQI Chair – Valencia Innovation Experience of Universitat Politècnica de València and Inter-University Chair of Educational Transformation ‘Carme Miquel’. of Universitat de València. We will celebrate the 25th, 26th and 27th of October 2023 at the Valencia Campus of Universitat Politècnica de València.

  • Excellence in Business Management and Innovation Generation.
  • Digitalization: the great challenge of Education today.

It will include plenary lectures, thematic sessions, oral communication sessions and poster sessions. The languages of the congress are Spanish, English and the co-official languages of Spain.

In this edition, the papers will be published as scientific articles in the scientific journal Creativity and Educational Innovation Review (CEIR) in the Scientific Database. Articles will be reviewed by blind peers from the scientific committee of the congress. Once the changes have been accepted and with the positive evaluation of the reviewers, they will be sent to the publisher for inclusion in the text.

The Scientific Committee is pleased to invite authors to submit their abstracts for presentation at the International Congress.

+ ABSTRACT SUBMISSION

Participants may submit contributions related to the thematic lines of the Congress. A one-page extended abstract will be sent first, which will be evaluated by the scientific committee. Accepted proposals will be published in a scientific journal in digital format.

The following template should be used for the submission of abstracts (if in doubt, please contact congreso@eiim.eu).

+ SUBMISSION OF THE COMPLETE WORK

If the abstract of the contribution is accepted, the full paper may be submitted on a voluntary basis and will be reviewed again by the scientific committee. Finally accepted papers will be published in Creativity and Educational Innovation Review (CEIR).

We reiterate that:

  1. Submission of the full paper is not mandatory.
  2. Acceptance of the abstract does not imply acceptance of the full paper. It will be subject to a double blindpeer review by the scientific committee.

IMPORTANT:

  • The title of the full text should be slightly different from the title of the abstract (since they are published in different books).
  • The authorship of the full text may not include all the co-authors and/or co-authors of the accepted abstract. They will decide who signs each contribution.
  • Abstract and full text should not coincide word for word.

The criteria for the review of full papers are:

  • Relevance, originality, content, appropriateness to standards and correctness of the text.
+ CRITERIA AND KEY DATE
  • All proposals will be subject to review by the scientific committee, which will make the final decision regarding their assignment to a specific thematic line.
  • The criteria for the review of the proposals are: relevance, originality, suitability for the event, content and correctness of the text.
  • Acceptance of the proposal will be final when at least one author registers for the event before July 25. The rest can register later (until August 31).
  • Attendees registered through the Centro de Profesorado must formalize their registration through Seneca and be admitted to the activity.
  • The deadline for submitting abstracts is July 25, 2023.
+ CANCELLATION POLICY

The submission of a paper abstract must imply a commitment to participate in the congress. In the event that, once the paper has been accepted, personal or health circumstances force you to cancel your participation, please notify CONGRESO@EIIM.EU as soon as possible in order to exclude it from the program. In the event that a colleague or co-author is able to present on your behalf, please also notify CONGRESO@EIIM.EU so that changes can be made. Cancellations impose a heavy workload and have a negative impact on the overall quality of the conference program.

+ USE OF TEMPLATE AND REMARKS

Before submitting the manuscript, please check that it complies with the following self-checklist so that it is not directly rejected for not complying with some of the requirements indicated.

It is an essential requirement that all authors must have registered for the Congress. Otherwise, the paper will not be published even if it has been accepted.

 

According to the estimation of the scientific committee, and based on their educational relevance and scientific rigor, some particularly significant papers will be selected for inclusion in the scientific journal: Creativity and Educational Innovation Review (CEIR).

Remarks:

  • Contributions presented in other congresses or journals will not be accepted.
  • They must follow the guidelines established for the Congress.
  • Only papers that have been received during the established deadlines will be accepted.
  • Contributions must follow the format of the template created for the event.

PRESENTIAL / ONLINE MODALITY

The I International Congress on Innovation and Education: Management, transfer and digitization (I CIIE 2023) wishes to make its scientific content available to those who, for various reasons, cannot attend in person in the city of Valencia.

The different sessions and plenary conferences will be broadcast via streaming during the days of the congress, and can be viewed afterwards.

In the table below you will find the different fees depending on the time at which the decision is made to register for both the face-to-face and virtual format. All attendees will have access to the virtual platform to view the recorded content and download the congress magazine.

Step 2. REGISTRATION

Once the registration fee has been paid, for either of the two modalities, you must send PROOF OF PAYMENT to CONGRESO@EIIM.EU, and you must complete the following registration form.

IMPORTANT: All participants with an accepted abstract must complete the registration process before August 31.

    Step 3. REQUEST FOR INVOICE

    For these procedures, please send an e-mail to CONGRESO@EIIM.EU with the subject CIIE23 Invoice and the following information:

    • Date of payment of the registration fee.
    • Your full name and NIF.
    • Name of the person, company or institution, CIF and postal address, to whom the invoice should be issued.
